Here we grow again! The Spring foraging season has allowed us to get some teas back on the table at craft fairs, while deciding that we no longer need an ingredient in the house, has allowed us to put other teas back out as well. We have so much chokecherry juice concentrate, syrup and jelly, that we aren’t using our tubs of chokecherry leaf, and that leaf is the base of several of our teas.
We had created several “stand-in” teas we had called them, to keep the table active at craft fairs while we began harvesting missing ingredients we’d sold out of. The word ‘had” is important here, because people are enjoying these teas enough that they can no longer be considered “stand ins”! One quite literally was a mistake when sumac was dumped into a recipe instead of rosehips. Ashley rescued this problem and a new tea was born that we seriously can’t keep on the table! We’ve made two batches of it, and they sell out very quickly! That tea is called Summer Skies.
The tea line-up has expanded, but we haven’t found time to update the shop here on the website as of yet. The teas currently available for sale total 17 teas now, with 10 in the shop. A couple teas share a tab in the rare category, but that will change. The entire available list is as follows:

Remember that in-person sales at craft fairs ALWAYS come with a discount from our usual prices here on the website!
In addition, we’ve occasionally been asked if we sell samples, and now we can say we do! We are now selling samples individually for $3 each, or in sample collections. Each sample contains 2 tablespoons of herb blend, which will make up to 6 cups, depending on how you heap your teaspoon. We agree that samples allow you to try our teas without committing to an entire 20-30 cup bag.
Available sample collections currently include:
As with our teas, some names are descriptive, some are experiential, and some are cheeky or tongue-in-cheek. Those with cheeky or tongue-in-cheek names, have actually been grouped according to shortlists we’ve made around teas that are useful for certain conditions people tend to frequently discuss with us, asking if we have any teas that assist.
Another addition to our table is in answer to the occasional query if we offer cups for sale. Now we do, although they may or may not hit the website shop. This is due to going thrifting and finding some gorgeous vintage English China! These of course, are used, they are second hand. We had to research what they typically sell for, and using the information on the bottom of each piece, we figured out what to do.
As you can imagine, all this is turning us into a veritable roving tea shop! As a result, our craft fair table is expanding, and we had a chance to set out a full display at the 2025 Lumby Days Indoor Craft Fair. All we were missing were Marilynn’s Fir and Curly Dock chocolate chip cookies! We have further expansion ideas heading into fall, and hopefully the website will be updated by then as well. We are keeping the calendar updated and have a few more events to add there as we head into summer.
If you want to order anything off the website and find it isn’t listed, use orderform or enter info from it in an email to us, and we’ll cover your order.
The last major announcement, is that Ashley has obtained her Chartered Herbalist Certificate from Dominion College! She is now a Chartered Herbalist! This info is now part of Meet The Team, and eventually, you may see copies of our credentials inside the door of the Apothecary Trunk at the various fairs we attend.
